Why should you choose CMP?
I realize you have an unlimited number of choices when it comes to portraiture and commercial photography and are already budgeting your money carefully, especially in our current economic situation. However, as a female owned and operated small business, I want to provide you with the absolute best experience and value for your dollar’s worth. I look at each session as more than just photographing a moment in time, and hope you look back down the road and have memories of the experience as well. My goal is for you to point to a photograph and tell someone what that moment in time was for you, whether next week or fifty years in the future.
Additionally, I approach each session with one priority — to give you the service, images, and memories I would expect from a professional photographer, nothing less. We want you to be wowed and amazed when you see the final images.

CMP’s photography philosophy
Portraiture sessions should be fun and relaxing — not boring and stressful. While my style is constantly evolving, I enjoy capturing unscripted moments as well as contemporary and lifestyle portraiture on digital ‘film.’ As a photographer, I choose to challenge myself daily and expand beyond traditional portraiture and encourage clients to be themselves in front of the camera. In daily life we’re not stiff and posed, so why do we let our portraits capture us that way?
I truly enjoy capturing the moments that are unscripted and unrehearsed so that results appear to be simple observations. We believe there is something new to be learned each day about photography, both from behind the camera lens and in front of it, regardless of how many years of experience and knowledge one has gained in their chosen craft.
