Graduation is just around the corner and before you know it, it’ll be time to send out graduation announcements and to swap wallets of your awesome senior portraits with your friends and classmates. Don’t wait until the last minute to book & shoot your senior portraits … Christina McCall Photography has Class of 2011 special collection options (which include your session fee) available for booking right now!

As of today … only seven more full custom senior portrait appointment times are available this spring!

Almost full for 2010!

Wanting to have portraits made for holiday gifts or to enclose in Christmas cards (or to be printed as Christmas cards)? As of Tuesday, October 12th, CMP still had the remaining openings:

October 23 — The Bump Maternity Minis: 1 space left
November 6 — Holiday Minis: 1 space left
November 13 — Holiday Minis: 2 spaces left
December 4 — The Bump Maternity Minis: 2 spaces left
Full custom sessions: 2 openings (late October only)

Also, the appointment times set aside for the Early Bird Special still have 5 spaces left – in late October, early November, and on December 5th! These are only for school-aged children, tweens, and teens/seniors … perfect for the holidays or seniors on a budget for their senior portraits!

Twelve Days of Giving!

Beginning on December 13, CMP will be celebrating Christmas a bit early by giving out nearly $1900 worth of sessions, print credits, prints, and custom designed boutique photo products over a twelve day period.
All you have to do is stop by daily through December 24th and comment on the blog post of the prize(s) you desire to have a chance to win! And, yes, I’ll post a reminder a bit closer to the start date …

Top 12 of 2010

Last year was the first year I selected my absolute favorite images from that year and allowed clients, their families and friends, and other site visitors to pick their absolute favorite. Since it was a hit last year, I’m already narrowing down my favorite images (and will continue to do through the last sessions on December 5th) — on Monday, December 27th, I’ll launch the top 12 images and the poll to vote for your favorite. The deadline to vote is Friday, December 31st at midnight CST — the winner will be announced on Monday, January 3rd!

The winner will receive an 11×14 Signature Line Wall Art Print of their winning image ($100 value)!

Sit.Stay.Snap.’s new site …

In late September I launched a revamped Sit.Stay. Snap. portfolio site, which includes new images from pet sessions yet to be blogged … drop by and check out the new site – it’s iphone/ipad and smartphone friendly (or, if you have an
Android phone with Adobe Flash, you can view the site as-is from the web)!

Vay – cay – shun

Don’t forget — CMP will be closed from 5 pm on Saturday, May 15th until Tuesday, June 1st for some much needed R&R! All phone calls and emails will be returned during the week of June 1st! If you blogstalked us last summer, you know about The Roadtrip (posts are in reverse order). There will be some summer travels, but nothing on the scale of 2009′s trip. And yes –we’ll be doing the Comments for Charity again in conjunction with those travels …

Summer Specials

In addition to the CMP Super Minis on June 5th (Athens area, location TBA upon session confirmation) … there’s also two summer specials on the menu. One super awesome digital special good now through August 31st and one ‘Christmas in July’ special that’ll debut July 1st.

Casting Call and Seniors 2011!

On a budget and wish you could afford a CMP session sooner than later? You might just be in luck! Visit the Casting Call page to see if you or someone you know might fit one of the ideas I have envisioned … a few casting call sessions will be held this summer, the rest in late 2010/early 2011.

All participants selected will receive a waived session fee as well as a mounted 8×10 print as thanks for helping me make the ideas I have a reality!

And for the Class of 2011 … I’m looking for a few good soon-to-be-seniors to represent CMP. Know a current high school junior that’s outgoing, involved in lots of activities, and who’d like to earn some rewards for making referrals? Have them contact me for the CMP Rep Application ASAP!

Selected members of the Class of 2011 will receive two (2) waived fee mini sessions — one this summer (in July or August) and one in late winter/early spring (January – mid March) as well as 5 watermarked digital proofs (per session) and rep cards to pass out to their friends/family.

Featured Session/Event

On April 17th, CMP had the honor of documenting the Speak Up for Kids CASA 5k race and festivities.

Back when I was in graduate school, I spent part of a semester observing and analyzing an area CASA office for one of my seminar courses. I’ve wanted to become involved with the organization after becoming so familiar with its mission, but it has been a conflict of interest due to the field my day job is in.

… its that time Class of 2009 seniors! If you’ve procrastinated on senior portraits or have been swamped with all the decisions regarding your future, its not too late to book your senior portrait session! We still have limited number of dates in March and April to capture this moment in time — and we have a few specials you can take advantage of!

Schedule your session no later than April 5th for prints in time to send out with your graduation announcements in early May. We can still have prints in your hands after that date, but if you’re in a time crunch, we do have a rush option available!
