For the record, this is the longest amount of time off (excluding holiday breaks when I worked at the juco level) I’ve taken since I went to work full-time — its a very much needed break, especially now that I not only work part-time, but also have a photography business! Please forgive me if I’m just more than a tad bit excited to be ‘running away from East Texas’ as I’ve put it to several coworkers and friends lately!

Anyway, rambling aside, Christina McCall Photography (formerly Reflections of Life Photography) will be closed — yes, closed!!! — from 5 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2009 until Monday, June 29, 2009. I will be on the road well away from the state of Texas for 99% of this time period and my cell service will be sporadic, at best. I will have internet access for part of the trip in the late evenings, so if you need to reach me during those two weeks — don’t call, email (or fill this form out that’ll make its way to my inbox also)! I will try my best to respond as I am able to, but there will be at least three (3) days in which I will have no telephone or internet access. Yeah, the withdrawals are already starting … so please, to be on the safe side, allow up to five (5) days for a response until I return home.

All orders received while I’m gone will be placed upon my return. If you’re wanting to schedule a mini session or regular session at our ‘re-grand opening’ rates, shoot me an email with the date/time you’re interested in (for mini sessions), or the date and time of day (early morning, late afternoon) for regular sessions (Saturday or Sunday only for all sessions!). I’ll reply back as soon as I have the opportunity and send (via email) the info packet/payment invoice to you. Appointments will not be confirmed until both the contract (to be sent via email) and retainer fee are received.

While I’m gone, and on the nights I have internet access, I will be posting images and tidbits from my trip for all of you to vicariously experience. And tied in with that will be a promotion of sorts — that’ll benefit several charities near and dear to me. More details about that will be posted separately in the early hours tomorrow … and hopefully tomorrow night I will have a few images from Day 1 of The Roadtrip posted as well!

A note before I post the specials themselves: All sessions booked at the Slow Season and Senior ’09 Special rates must be scheduled/completed by no later than May 25th. Additionally, permit fees for locations that require a photography permit will be assessed separate from creative fees.

To confirm the date of your choice, a $50 deposit is required — Credit cards and instant check payments may be made via Paypal or you can mail a personal or cashier’s check to us. Now … for the specials themselves:

Slow Season Special, Option A: Receive $50 off your 2 hour portraiture session — and still receive the $50 print credit — for $125 (special does not apply to buddy sessions or special portraiture collections). Travel fees (for sessions outside of Henderson and Smith Counties), collection pricing, and a la carte prints not covered with the print credit are extra.

Slow Season Special, Option B: Instead of receiving the $50 discount on the portraiture session creative fee, pay the regular rate of $175 (with the $50 print credit) and receive a 10×10 matboard mounted collage with an easel to display it on. These collages, which are valued at $60, are otherwise only available with a minimum print order of $200.

Basically, for $175, you get the session, a $50 print credit, and a $60 10×10 matboard mounted collage, normally you’d have to spend $435 to have a 10×10 collage included in your order!

Senior ’09 Special (individual sessions only): Book/pay in full your senior portraiture session by February 15th and receive 50 Standard Glossy “411″ rep cards with your image + contact information upon completion of session and image editing, a $25 value. You pick the image + provide the info for the back (cell, email, myspace/facebook URL or blog URL). These are great for sharing with your friends — and a much better deal than wallets Expired 2.15.09.

Senior ’09 Buddy Special: Book/pay in full your senior buddy portraiture session by February 15th and each participant (min 3, max 5) will receive 2 5×7′s of the group pose of their choice upon completion of session and image editing, a $20 value. Expired 2.15.09

2009 Seniors selecting an individual session may combine the Slow Season Special (Option A or B) with the Senior ’09 Special. 2009 Seniors cannot combine the two senior specials together.
