We toured some cave dwellings …

… and ate at a restaurant with a plane sticking out the side. The plane in question is actually a Texas Air Guard plane Good choice if you ask me! Sorry, no picture for now, needs a bit of tweaking!

And we enjoyed a couple hours with my friend April who drove down from the Mile High City area to see us since we weren’t going to be able to swing a few hours there tomorrow.

Hey April, one of these days you’ll have your license to fly planes … although much smaller! We’ll have to arrange for you to give me an aerial tour so I can really capture Colorado’s harder to reach beauty!

For those curious and not in the know, we’re headed northwest for the next few days … some really gorgeous scenery to be featured over the next few days, so don’t forget to check back for the images! Let’s just say the next time I travel through Kansas, I’m taking the interstate. And bringing a gas mask.

As a result, my poor brain is frazzled. And we have another long day ahead tomorrow. So I’m leaving the dslr packed up and posting one picture tonight from the point and shoot …

If you’re following my twitter feed (see under recently on the menu at the top of the page) … you’ll see a tweet regarding a person with some serious issues mentioned. This is what I was referring to– this is the ‘tamer’ signs displayed stretching several hundred feet. Some, in my opinion, were downright vulgar and won’t be given the time of day in terms of my posting images of them.
