Asleep at last …

Tonight wraps up the last of my sneak peeks from Lexi’s newborn session; I’ll feature several of Amanda’s tomorrow evening (Robby was behind the scenes this time — literally — as he was our backdrop holder & prop assistant).

It’s the unexpected moments like this one that I’ve come to love about portraiture photography. With little ones especially, you never know what to expect — and sometimes they turn out to be some of the most priceless and treasured images years from now.

And yes, picking out sneak peeks is very hard this time around … I normally know which images I’ll use for the sneak peeks after I import all the images from a session into Lightroom and flag the ones I’ll edit further. I managed to pick out yesterday’s late Sunday evening and today’s during my lunch hour today.

Mr. Noah sorta has been featured here before … well his momma was anyway. That’s the first of the entries with images from her maternity session (more are posted throughout the month of May 2008).
