All of our announcements arrive in either chocolate brown or luxe white boxes (or red at the holidays!) with our custom ‘belly band’ — these match the belly bands on the cd cases that come with digital collections. The great thing about the boxes and belly bands — because we don’t stamp or write anything on the box, you can reuse them for storage or as gift wrap!

The design Morgan selected isn’t limited to graduation announcements either — it also ‘doubles’ as a newborn announcement, thank you card, and a Save the Date announcement.

All of our custom design announcements/cards are available in two paper types — stipple and pearlized luxe (Morgan chose stipple for these) and come with white envelopes. If you’re interested in our custom designed card line and would like paper samples, let me know when you book your sessions and I’ll mail them out to you or bring them to your session. The full line of graduation announcements is currently available for all seniors and soon to be college graduates (new designs will be added in the coming months) as well as this year’s Christmas card options. I have a few new designs to add to the 14 already available so all of our holiday clients have the ability to have a unique card design this year!

Sidenote: Custom designed greeting cards and announcements are only available to CMP portrait clients. We are unable to create announcements and greeting cards using other photographers’ images unless they directly send us a written release authorizing permission and releasing us from any legal/financial/criminal liability and penalities due to federal copyright law.

Next Saturday, July 18th is the Mini Session date in Tyler — there is still availability to schedule a mini session in downtown Tyler that morning. Due to the heat, there will be no sessions after the last available time posted here. Also — you must pay the creative fee in full to confirm your time slot!

I normally close the calendar to sessions the Monday prior to the upcoming weekend — as long as I have your payment in hand (or the confirmation in my inbox) by the end of the day on Wednesday, July 15th, you’ll be good to go for the Tyler date; for the August date, by Wednesday, August 12th.

Also, don’t forget about the Fundraiser for Cullen — I normally don’t schedule weekday sessions due to my day job (editing and admin tasks normally take up my evenings), but during the month of July, $40 of the $75 weekday special creative fee (plus state sales taxes) (M-Th in Tyler, Friday evenings in Athens) will go to Cullen’s rising medical expenses. The balance goes to cover my federal and state sales tax, gas to get to your session location, and a thank you gift for helping me help Cullen. Don’t delay — the month is nearly a third of the way over already!

Furthermore — if you’ve been holding on booking a session to get holiday images for Christmas cards — don’t delay too long! Once fall hits, everyone will start panicking and booking, don’t let the date you’re considering be taken by someone else! Our Re-grand opening special expires on August 31st — $100 creative fee (weekends only), session must be scheduled by December 27, 2009. Details available here.
