Way back in my childhood, I lived in this ‘blink so you miss’ town about an hour west of Athens (its significantly improved since I moved way, well, except for the house I lived in! That’s another story.). I was lucky that within a quarter of a mile of our house I had six neighbors the same age or two to five years older than me — especially as I was an only child until age eight! One of those neighbors was Randee …

I recently met up with Randee, her husband, Wamon, and their three children …

The day of their session was Kelci’s birthday … so here’s a solo shot of the birthday girl!

Couldn’t decide which version I liked better … last image shot with my *workhorse* lens before I sent it off to greener pastures on Monday. The successor just arrived yesterday and I can’t wait to get back to shooting again after a short break

Lots of rain = mushrooms. Which also means patrolling the yard to make sure one feline and two canines don’t get the bright idea to eat them … because the last time one of my pets thought these were tasty, she nearly died from an overdose of hallucinogenic ‘shrooms.

Biz wise … the stuff that can’t wait until the blog vacation is over (on July 5th) …

(a) The portraiture portfolio section of this site is currently offline — its undergoing an overhaul/update. A snazzy new portfolio site will debut on July 1st!

(b) There is still availability for the July 24th Bump Maternity Minis. Regular session-wise, only limited availability in August.

(c) I’ve polled a group of individuals (thanks to those who participated!) and a few session/product changes will kick in come July 1st — there are a few other ideas I’m still kicking around that I’m leaning towards implementing in January.

(d) The Christmas in July Holiday Special will be announced on July 5th — and expires on July 12th. Want to snag a really great deal and book your session before the session calendar is full for Fall 2010? Join the mailing list for a 24 hour head start or keep an eye here on the blog for the details!
