CMP goal is to provide each of our clients with custom portraiture art – we view photography as an artform that should not be devalued just because of digital technology and discount printing options at mass retailers.
As we are not a low priced, high volume studio, we are able to give each client individual attention and therefore limit the number of sessions scheduled each month so we can provide that level of service consistently. Each client receives a customized session you won’t receive at a low priced alternative — they give you a quick session, little to no photo editing after the fact.
With us, you won’t get a cheesy studio backdrop with a flash constantly going off in your face during a session with CMP — in fact, we don’t offer studio sessions at all. We spend anywhere from 2 to 10 hours after your session in the digital darkroom working our magic to give you images the lower priced alternatives provide at an additional cost. Think relaxed, coordinated (but not Bobbsey Twins matching), and fun. You’re not stiffly posed in real life and you won’t get that with CMP.
In addition to our Signature Line of premium and luxe desk prints and wall art, our Luxe Boutique features custom designed items (storyboards, albums, and holiday cards/announcements), canvases, and other custom artwork.
Your prints and photographic products (excluding press printed holiday cards/announcements) – with proper care — will be here for your grandchildren to enjoy.
Please Note: Our clients spend on average at least $500 on portrait art and luxe boutique products (excluding Creative Fees). Additionally, there is a $250 minimum order requirement on all portraiture sessions. Texas sales tax of 6.25% is assessed on all creative fees, prints, digital files, and print products as per state law (is not included in the rates below).

As of Spring 2010, we have three session options for you to choose from:
*Please note: All clients are required to sign a portraiture client contract which outlines our policies and procedures. This contract is emailed to you when directions for paying your retainer fee is sent via email. Sessions are not considered confirmed until CMP receives both the signed contract and confirmation of cleared payment for the non-refundable retainer fee.
– Portrait sessions with CMP are not your traditional portrait session experience. No studio, no cheesy fabric backdrop — each 90 minute to 2 hour session is customized to fit your personality and desires. Urban, rural, modern, hip, vintage flair – no two sessions are alike. Sure we’ll take a few ‘traditional’ portraits, but the bulk of your images will reflect you as you are, not a formal/stiffly posed version of you. These are truly a custom portraiture experience worth investing in.
– Non-refundable Creative Fee: $200 ($100 retainer due immediately + $100 balance due no later than 72 hours prior to your session date)
This non-refundable creative fee secures your session date/time and covers Christina’s time/talent in location scouting, a pre-session consultation (via email or phone), photographing, and editing your session. It provides you with a 90 minute to 2 hour on-location portrait session at 1-2 locations, max of three outfits, and a 14 day online proofing gallery with 40 proofs to select prints/products from for purchase.– Session types available: Maternity, Newborn/Infant, Children (max 3 siblings), Family (max 5 immediate family members), Senior/Adult Individual, and Couples/Engagement.
– Add on additional siblings (to childrens sessions) or immediate family members (to family sessions): $25 per each additional person above the max allowed.
– Destination sessions around the state of Texas as well as the rest of the continental US and Canada are available. Please contact us for travel fees assessed for areas outside of our six county service area.
– a mini and less customized version of the Off the Beaten Track (aka OTBT) sessions. Sessions last 30-45 minutes, are held at one location, and include one outfit. Within three weeks, you’ll receive access to your online proofing gallery containing 15 images to choose from. Limited session dates and scaled back product line to choose from. Lower investment level in comparison to our OTBT sessions.
– Lite option (no prints/products included): $100 Non-refundable Creative Fee (due immediately) + $250 Minimum Order Requirement.
– Luxe option: $500 ($250 non-refundable retainer due immediately + $250 balance due no later than 72 hours prior to your session date). In addition to the Session Creative Fee, this also includes a disc of all images in your proofing gallery sized to print at 5×7 or smaller + (1) Artist’s Choice 10×15 Luxe Wall Art Print + (1) Artist’s Choice 5×7 Mini Masterpiece).– Serendipity sessions are NOT designed for: newborns/infants under six months of age or maternity sessions involving studio styled posing/backdrops — these are customized sessions that require more than 30-45 minutes to complete.
Our mission and goal at CMP is “Capturing You. Now & Forever” — so as of Spring 2010, we’re also offering documentary style sessions. We spend 2-3 hours at your home observing you via camera — you can do any number of indoor/outdoor (weather permitting) activities that will fit in. Within three weeks, we’ll present you with a disc of black & white conversions of at least 50 images sized to print up to 5×7. Digital upgrades + print options are available.
Introductory Creative Fee (includes 2-3 hour ’session’ + a disc of at least 50 5×7 sized b/w digital files): $450 (regularly $750). A $225 retainer fee is due immediately; the $225 balance is due no later than 72 hours prior to your session date.
Add-on/Upgrade options:
– Upgrade the b/w digital files from 5×7 to 8×12: add $300 to the creative fee
– Add a 30 minute off-site mini portrait session to the beginning or end of your documentary session: add $100 (these images are not included on your disc; purchasing options are available separately)

Desk art prints (with exception of wallet sets) are printed on archival quality luster coated and textured high quality photo paper and are mounted for long-term durability — ready for display or framing. Our mounted 8×10s are priced at $60.
Wall art prints (sized 11×14 and larger) are printed on archival quality luster coated and textured high quality photo paper and are mounted for long-term durability — ready for framing. Our mounted 11×14s are priced at $100.
Luxe canvases, custom designed wall art collages, albums, senior memory books, holiday cards/announcements, and other unique photographic art is available through our Luxe Boutique. A $250 minimum print purchase is required for Luxe Boutique purchases.
Both Print and Digital Collections are available for purchase at a significant savings over a la carte pricing. OTBT session collections begin at $500 (scaled back print only collections are available for Serendipity Sessions begin at $350).
To confirm your session date/time, we must receive both the $100 non-refundable retainer fee* (via Paypal or Personal Check/Certified Check/USPS Money Order) + signed portraiture contract before official appointment confirmation is provided. If we have not received both of these items within four (4) calendar days, we re-open the date/time slot to any other interested clients who have inquired. The balance of the non-refundable creative fee, $100**, is due no later than 72 hours prior to your session date.

A la carte print, Collection, Luxe Boutique, and Creative Fee pricing subject to change without advanced notice. Pricing at the time of your session confirmation will apply — not the pricing at the time your session is held. Out of fairness for all of our clients, pricing for services and products is non-negotiable.
