*Please note: All clients are required to sign a portraiture client contract which outlines our policies and procedures. This contract is emailed to you when directions for paying your retainer fee is sent via email. Sessions are not considered confirmed until CMP receives both the signed contract and confirmation of cleared payment for the non-refundable retainer fee.
About CMP Sesssions: CMP does not offer studio sessions at this time. During our sessions, little to no artificial lighting is used and minimal posing direction other than to keep you from looking stiff/formal (aka not the *real* you). Expect me to look silly and to plop down on the ground to get the portrait shot I have envisioned. In other words, what I suggest might seem odd, but I promise you I won’t ask you to do anything I wouldn’t do in front of a camera!
CMP sessions aren’t the portrait sessions of yesteryear! Our sessions are relaxed/laid back, I will cut up/tease/joke with you to get the reaction I’m trying to capture, will encourage you to snuggle if your significant other is in the session or to be a goofball to get genuine expressions out of your little ones. I try not to overuse locations that are popular — instead, I constantly scout for new spots that are rarely if ever used — so that your portraits do not look like everyone else’s portraits. I want the session to be about you and the loved ones involved in your session.
To confirm your session date/time, CMP must receive both the non-refundable retainer fee (via Paypal or Personal Check/Certified Check/USPS Money Order) + signed portraiture contract before official appointment confirmation is provided. If both of these items have not been received within four (4) calendar days, we re-open the date/time slot to any other interested clients who have inquired.
