Moment of the Month:

Woof Woof, Meow Meow ...

Most of us consider our pets a member of the family, but we forget to include them in family portraits! Include your cat or dog (or horses and cows) in your portrait session -- we can include a pet in any session type we offer -- or let them be the star of the show and have their own session!

Additionally, we'll be making a major announcement regarding the furry members of your family on January 1st!

Merry Christmas ...
... from Christina McCall Photography!

For those who aren't on our snail mail list -- here's the digital version of our 2009 Christmas Card ...

Front side (top from left): Mountain Lupine and one of the Tetons at Grand Teton National Park, Jackson, Wyoming; The Red Buses at Glacier National Park, Montana; Prince of Wales Hotel at Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada
Back side (bottom): Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

Want to get next year's Christmas card? Make sure I have your address by no later than November 15th of next year and you'll be on the list. I've already been informed by many that as awesome as this year's card is, I will have to top it. Oh boy ... what have I done!?!?!

And, for the inquiring minds, yes those images are available for purchase individually. Links to the travel gallery are located on the menu and in the bio section at http://www.christinamccall.com.

Stocking Stuffers!
Starting today through Christmas Eve, we're giving away some stocking stuffers ... need a last minute gift? Visit the blog and leave a comment on that day's post for a chance to win. Your email address is not visible to the public (only I can see it!) -- the only way to be eligible is to leave a comment!

Wondering what the stocking stuffers will be? Well, you'll just have to stop by to see for yourself ;)

Giving Is Awesome!
CMP is participating in an international effort to provide complimentary portrait sessions to deserving individuals and families this holiday season. Know someone who would never be able to afford a full custom portraiture session? Nominate them (nope, you cannot nominate yourself; not my rule, its the GIA rule) -- the deadline to submit nominations is New Year's Eve at midnight. Session value for the nominated individual/family: $1,200. And as a thanks, the person who nominates the chosen recipient will receive at $250 print credit. So help me help someone have a wonderful start to 2010!

On Sunday, January 3rd, I'll post the winner on the blog ... visit  http://www.christinamccall.com for details!

Surprises in the wings ...

Be sure to visit the CMP blog on January 1st, some major announcements and changes will be announced ... they'll also be sent out via the regular January newsletter.

Also -- if you're planning to schedule a session for Spring 2010, book now! Our rates will be going up on January 1st -- but you can lock in 2009 creative fees and print pricing if you pay the retainer fee and return your signed contract by no later than December 31st. The balance of the creative fee is due no later than 72 hours prior to your session date.

Serendipity Sessions!

CMP has added a new session to the lineup for 2010 -- Serendipity Sessions! Can't afford a full custom session but love our work? Our Serendipity Sessions last only 30-45 minutes (compared to the 90 minutes to two hours that our full sessions last), are less customized, and have a limited product line ... and if you choose the Luxe version of the Serendipity Sessions, also receive the basic color proofed digital files as well!
