Since I’ve been asked numerous times when will I ever do another contest … I’m relenting and holding one last contest/giveaway! I’ve also convinced several impartial individuals (aka none of them reside in North or East Texas) to choose the winners. Yes, I said winners … since it’ll be the last one for the very forseeable future, I figured I might as well go all out …

The details & rules …

Contest Start Date: May 7, 2011
Contest Deadline: Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:59 pm CDT

How to Enter: Visit http://www.christinamccall.com/2011-fresh-faces-contest … complete the form and attach one full length snapshot of the individual/dog/couple being entered in the contest (for copyright reasons, no images taken by professional photographers please!).

Contest Rules:

•Past contest and holiday giveaway winners aren’t eligible, sorry … want to be fair to everyone else!

•Winners will be notified via email no later than July 15, 2011.

•All winning participants will be required to sign a contract/model release and agree to Christina McCall Photography’s policies (under 18 & pets: contract/release must be signed by parent/guardian/pet owner).

•This shoot is only for the individual/pet/couple who is chosen as the winner only. Out of fairness to other entrants, additional people cannot be added to contest winner sessions.
•If the winner is not local to Henderson/Smith/Van Zandt Counties, winner must be willing to travel to a location within one of those three counties.
•No cash value, non-transferrable. No purchase necessary to win.
•Sessions must be scheduled and completed by September 25, 2011.

Categories:

•Kiddos (boys & girls ages 5-12)

•Teens (boys & girls ages 13-18)

•Canines (just has to be a dog that isn’t prone to biting!)

•Couples (young/old, married/engaged/dating)

The Prizes:
Each category will have a first place winner and overall judges’ favorite …

First Place (one per category):
•30 minute portrait session at one location selected by the photographer within Henderson/Smith/Van Zandt Counties – no wardrobe changes.

•Five day online ordering gallery with 15 photographer selected basic color edited images
•$100 print credit to use towards a la carte prints
•Prize valued at $200.00

Judges’ Favorite (most votes overall from all categories, only one awarded):
•1 hour portrait session at 1-2 locations selected by the photographer within Henderson/Smith/Van Zandt Counties + 1 wardrobe change.

•Five day online ordering gallery with 30 photographer selected basic color edited images
•Archival DVD with 10 basic color digital files sized to print at 8×10 or smaller
•(1) 11×14 Signature Line Wall Art Print
•Prize valued at $750.00

Bonus …

All entrants who aren’t selected as winners will receive a surprise via email that can be applied towards a Summer/Fall 2011 portrait session.

Top 12 of 2010 Winner! | East Texas Portrait Photographer

Before I announce the winner … drop by and check out the new ‘folio (aka portfolio) … its just about done other than a few tweaks on the admin side! Last Monday I posted the top 12 images from CMP’s 2010 sessions (geez, was that hard … picking out only 12 images!) … and as a result of several of the nominees rallying their friends and family, triple the number of people voted in the poll than last year!

So with that said … here’s the the top 3 images chosen by the voters …

Third Place … with 16% of the vote

Second Place … with 24% of the vote

… and the winner of the visitor’s vote at 27% of the total votes (& soon to be recipient of a gorgeous 11×14 Signature Line Wall Art Print) …
