Back in December 2008, I spent a long weekend in Fredericksburg (down in the Hill Country, west of Austin for the non-Texan visitors) during their Christmas festival and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Reunion/Convention. On Friday I shared some of the sights around town, today I’m sharing the military themed ones. Fredericksburg is the home of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz as well as the National Museum of the Pacific War (housed in what was his family’s hotel and pictured below … ) …
