– I’m winding down here behind the scenes, wrapping up edits on sessions held through the end of last weekend and finishing up print orders before the office closes at 5 pm on the 15th. Clients with live galleries or soon to launch galleries — if you need something urgently, submit it ASAP!
– Spotted this article on print sizing via a photography forum I belong to — Amy Ro Photography: Bigger is Better. She illustrates (with the use of a couch and a mantel) what an 8×10 up to a 16×24 (and beyond) look like displayed. Think an 8×10 is huge? Not in comparison to a 16×24 its not! And when on display above the mantel or couch, it doesn’t have that *wow* factor compared to a larger wall print. For CMP clients, if you’d to see sizing samples or meet up when your gallery launches to view samples in person — from 5×7 up to 20×30 — just let me know and we’ll meet for an in-person ordering session. CMP Clients also have access to the Wall Design Guide for additional decorating inspiration!
– Thanks to the reader who spotted one of CMP’s images in the most recent edition of The Wedded Bliss! If you don’t have a copy, go get one and flip to the vendor advertisement section and look for Lydia Covey’s ad — the image featured is from this session held a year ago this week!
– The status of the Summer Casting Call as of right now –Based on what I’ve already filled, I suspect that the last slot available will be gone by the end of the weekend. Anyone have a four to eight year old boy they want some themed session images of? Thanks again to those who responded!
When the next casting call will be? — this is a very popular question!
Answer: Possibly sometime in 2011. I really do not know if I will have an opportunity to announce a casting call again before the end of 2011 as I have several business and personal projects in the works (or will kickstart in early 2011) which will already limit the total number of client slots available each month. I only conduct these to do a trial run at locations or regarding ideas I’m questionable about … sometimes what I have envisioned doesn’t always pan out or needs some tweaking and I’d rather it be with a volunteer than a paying client! Additionally, I don’t keep a ‘wait list’ of volunteers — when I announce a casting call, its first come, first serve to keep it fair to everyone interested.
– Seasonal Specials. All you need to do to get details is email or call us to find out the details for the current special(s). One super awesome summer digital deal special is available for booking now, the other pre-holiday special will be out as of July 1st.
– Father’s Day Super Minis still have some availability remaining. Full details available here. I anticipate we’ll fill the last couple of slots in the next week. Don’t give Dad/Grandpa another tie, singing fish, or something he won’t ever use. Get him something he can proudly display at his office to show off his awesome kids/grandkids! This will be the last Super Mini session date of 2010 … so if you are on a budget and want a CMP session, contact me asap!
