Last month, an individual who asked to remain anonymous, nominated the Till Family for the Christmas in August Family Portraiture Giveaway. Over the weekend I was honored to photograph Dean, Yvonne, Kevin, and Nicole at their home near Athens.
Meet Kevin — a college freshman with so much life yet to live. Here’s a couple features on him from the Athens Review (and a second one) and WFAA Channel 8 …

This image of Kevin reminds me of the first time I met him two and a half years ago. Sweet and kind, thinking of others and putting a smile on their faces.

… as well their parents …

If Kevin had his way, after we finished photographing in front of the hot tub, he’d have stayed and hopped in!

A candid moment between them …
This Saturday, September 26th, the Athens Review’s Annual Softball Tournament will be honoring Kevin and he will be throwing out the first pitch. I think they may still be taking team registrations through tomorrow — and all proceeds will be going to his family to help defray his medical expenses. While my lack of softball playing ability prevented me from signing up, I plan to be there to watch him throw out that first pitch and I hope all of you that are local come out to cheer him on as well.
More images from their session will be posted on Thursday evening … meanwhile, please keep the Till family in your thoughts and prayers, as they can certainly use every single one they can get right now.
