Thankfully today wasn’t a fourteen hour day of driving! We left out of western Kansas early this morning …

… and ate at a restaurant with a plane sticking out the side. The plane in question is actually a Texas Air Guard plane
Good choice if you ask me! Sorry, no picture for now, needs a bit of tweaking!
And we enjoyed a couple hours with my friend April who drove down from the Mile High City area to see us since we weren’t going to be able to swing a few hours there tomorrow.

Hey April, one of these days you’ll have your license to fly planes … although much smaller! We’ll have to arrange for you to give me an aerial tour so I can really capture Colorado’s harder to reach beauty!
For those curious and not in the know, we’re headed northwest for the next few days … some really gorgeous scenery to be featured over the next few days, so don’t forget to check back for the images! And remember — LEAVE COMMENTS! For every 25 left, a charity (preselected) benefits! Don’t let them down!!!!

The sky is so blue…reminds me of here.
Looking forward to your Grand Teton and Yellowstone photos!
Ooh.. Colorado!!! It is at the top of my list to go to (beside Ireland…) sometime
. My brother just went to CO and in his words “perfect”! And he lives in California! I love those purple flowers.
