Molehills, Mountains, and a Plane | East Texas Based Travel Photography

Thankfully today wasn’t a fourteen hour day of driving! We left out of western Kansas early this morning …

… and are in central Colorado today.

We toured some cave dwellings …

… and ate at a restaurant with a plane sticking out the side. The plane in question is actually a Texas Air Guard plane:)Good choice if you ask me! Sorry, no picture for now, needs a bit of tweaking!

And we enjoyed a couple hours with my friend April who drove down from the Mile High City area to see us since we weren’t going to be able to swing a few hours there tomorrow.

Hey April, one of these days you’ll have your license to fly planes … although much smaller! We’ll have to arrange for you to give me an aerial tour so I can really capture Colorado’s harder to reach beauty!

For those curious and not in the know, we’re headed northwest for the next few days … some really gorgeous scenery to be featured over the next few days, so don’t forget to check back for the images! And remember — LEAVE COMMENTS! For every 25 left, a charity (preselected) benefits! Don’t let them down!!!!

The sky is so blue…reminds me of here. ;-) Looking forward to your Grand Teton and Yellowstone photos!

Ooh.. Colorado!!! It is at the top of my list to go to (beside Ireland…) sometime :-) . My brother just went to CO and in his words “perfect”! And he lives in California! I love those purple flowers.
