On the front lines

Okay, so when I saw this, I did think of the show MASH. This particular mobile hospital – per the tour guide — was a prefab quonset hut built and then packed up to be shipped to Japan in anticipation of invading if the atomic bombs didn’t result in surrender. It was never used and later donated to the Navajo nation. The Navajos, who didn’t end up using this particular one, donated it to the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg.
