Ah, yes, I’m in need of some models for some test sessions. While its the ‘slow season,’ I have some ideas I want to try out while I have some downtime to shoot and post process them — as well as sharing the final product on the website and blog.
Update 2.26.09: I have removed all but the two categories I am still seeking models for — will schedule sessions through the end of the summer.
The test sessions/models I have in mind:
Cancer survivor — prefer a female, any age range. Males welcome also. Depending on the individual will determine location … willing to take several volunteers for this idea![]()
9) Military veteran — young or old, male or female. Would like if they could fit into their uniform still if they’ve been out awhile. Downtown setting in mind. Again, willing to take several volunteers for this idea![]()
So — what’s the catch, you ask?
– First, I would like to do all of these (that I can find models for) if possible this spring — between now and mid May. Preferably in the east Texas region — there are a couple towns outside of this area I have in mind if someone is local to that area.
– Secondly, they’d have to sign a model release so I can use the images in my print and online portfolios.
– Finally, for the recipients of the portrait test sessions, the creative fee is waived and recipients will receive 20 proof sized watermarked images to email to family/friends and post online. Also, all recipients will receive an 8×10 of the image of their choice and a discount on additional prints. Normally, a session is $175 (current special is $125) with a print credit built in!
– For the commerical test session — the creative fee will be waived along with a cd of with 10 high resolution images and a print release for use with marketing materials provided. I normally charge $50 for the session + a cd w/ the images since I’m still portfolio building in this area.
Do you know someone that would fit one of these test session ideas? Either send me their contact info (if they don’t mind) or have them email me (rolphotography@gmail.com) asap!!
Thanks!
Christina (and Robby)
PS … if you know any Class of 2010 graduates, tell them that Senior Spokesmodel information will be available at the end of this month!
